Method
1. Seperate the legs and body of the crab. Clean the crab and wash it for 2-3 times.2.Roughly chop the onions,tomato and green chilli. Coarse grind the chopped ones with ginger garlic paste. Do not grind finely.
3.Grind the grated coconut with pepper. Keep aside.
4.Take a heavy bottomed pan/kadai, heat oil and add fennel seeds.
5.Add the grounded paste and saute well for few mins. Add the crabs and saute well in oil along with the grounded masala. fry till crab starts to change its color.
6.Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt and grounded coconut paste. stir well.
7.Add little water and close the lid. Keep in medium flame.
8.After 5-8 mins masala should be thickened. If not again close the lid and cook for another few mins.
9.Open the lid, Water would have turned to gravy like. At this stage keep the flame little high and saute well until crab gets fried completely along with the masala. Garnish with coriander leaves and ready for dine with hot white rice.
Note
1.Do not add more water. Then masala will become watery and you need to fry for long time to reach the stage.
