Kothamali biriyani

Coriander leaves/Kothamalli-1 bunch
Basmathi rice - 2 cup
Green chilli-4 no
Onion- 1 sliced
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Garlic- 2 finely chopped
Shajeera-1 tp
Bay leaf-2
Cloves,Cinnamon,cardamom-each 1
Cashew- 10
Ghee-1 tbsp
Oil-2 tbsp


1.Wash and grind coriander leaves along with green chiili by adding little water.
2.In a cooker add oil and ghee. Now add shajeera,all biriyani spices,chopped garlic,cashew,onion,ginger garlic paste. Saute for a while.
3.Add grounded paste and saute until raw smell goes off.
4.Add soaked rice and 3 1/2 cup water,check for salt and close lid.Cook in simmer for 20 min.
   Serve with raitha/Veg kuruma and u luv it.


 Same process can be done in electric rice cooker. Easy cooking in easy way.
 Adding shajeera is optional. You can replace with sombu/Fennel seed
