Bhindi Masala

Ingredients:


Ladies finger-15
Onion-1 big Sliced
Tomato-1/2 sliced
Ginger garlic paste- 1Tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tp
Chilli powder-1 tbsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tbsp
Whole garam masala-Cardamom,Bay leaf,cloves,cinnamon.
Salt
Sugar-1/3 tp
Oil-3 tbsp


Method:

1.Cut the ladies finger for 1 inch length. Add 1 tbsp of oil in kadai and fry ladies finger until it turns brown.

2.Now heat oil in a fry pan and add whole garam masala,onion and 1/3 tp of sugar to turn slight brown color.Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,chilli powder,salt,coriander powder and cumin powder and mix it (5-6min) & cover it.Keep it in medium flame

3. Add okra and mix it thoroughly and cook in medium flame for 10-12 min by covering with lid.Switch off the flame and add coriander leaves. Serve hot for roties/Paratha/Rice


Note:
1.Keep in medium flame and cook. Do not keep in high flame.
2.You can also try with other veg like brinjal,potato.
3.Good combination for mor kuzhambu
