Celery Soup

Ingredients

Celery- 3 sticks
Potato- 1 no
Spring Onion- 3 sticks
Butter- 1 tbsp
Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Parsley- 1/2 tsp dried
Salt
Water

Method

1.Wash and clean the celery and chop them into cubes.
2.Boil the potato and keep aside. Chop the spring onions by side.
3.Now in a bottomed vessel heat butter and add chopped celery and spring onions. Saute for a min.
4.Add required water and allow them to boil for nearly 5-7 min or until it cooks.
5.Filter the water and grind them along with boiled potato.
6.Again re-filter the grounded paste if you needed.
7.Now in a vessel add the grounded paste and required amount of water and boil for 2-3 min. At this stage add salt and pepper. Sprinkle some dried parsley while serving.
Creamy rich healthy celery soup is ready !

Note

You can also add chopped garlic while boiling celery and green onions.
Grated carrots also can be used for garnishing.
