Egg Rice

Ingredients:

Basmati rice-1 cup
Egg-3
Green chilli-2 slit
Onion- 1 big(chopped)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Tomato-1 big
Cinnamon-1,Bay leaf-2,Sombu-1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves few
Salt & oil


Method:

1.Soak basmati rice for 20 min and pressure cook.Scramble the egg withlittle salt and turmeric powder.
2.In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and add sombu/patta/biriji leaf and curry leaves. Now add onion,tomato,green chilli,turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Saute for a while.
3.At last add scambled egg and cook until egg gets cooked.
4.Mix the cooked basmati rice along with the egg masala and saute for 5 min. Check for salt .Finally add chopped coriander leaves and serve with any pappad.
