Ingredients

Idly rice
100 gm
Channa dal/Kadala parupu
50 gm
Urad dal
2 Tsp
Toor dal
25 gm
Red chilli
4
Salt

Coconut pieces
¼ cup
Oil
2 Tsp
Mustard seeds
½ Tsp
Kadala parupu
1 Tbsp
Onion
1
Curry leaf
1 string

Method

1.Wash and soak Idly rice,kadala parupu,urad dal and toor dal overnight.

2. Coarse grind the soaked items along with salt and red chilli with required water.

3.In a pan heat oil and add mustard seeds,channa dal, onions and curry leaves. Add the chopped coconut bits also.

5.Transfer to the ground batter.

6.Heat the dosa tawa and pour the dosa batter. Drizzle oil and cook both sides until dosa is crispy 

Crsipy adai is ready to serve.We had with spicy onion kara chutney. It was too good.


Notes

1.No not loosen the batter with excessive amount of water.
2.Drizzle good amount of oil to get crispy adai.
