Grilled chicken on a bed of veggies( Tawa method Indian style)

Time: 20 mins for cooking
Yields:1 person
Ingredients

Chicken breast
2 medium
Olive oil
3 Tbsp
Jeera powder
1 Tsp
Pepper powder
1 Tsp
Red chilli flakes
½ Tsp
Cinnamon powder
½ Tsp
Garlic
10 pods finely chopped
Lemon
3 Tsp
Parsley
3 Tsp finely chopped

For Veggies bed


Butter
1 Tsp
Broccoli
5 florets
Sweet corn
¼ cup
Baby spinach
1 cup
Frozen peas
¼ cup
Capsicum
½ cup
Salt

Pepper
½ Tsp
Method

1.Wash the chicken breast and wipe with kitchen towel.

2.Make a cut on the breast.All all the seasoning ingredients except parsley. Let it marinate for 2 hours. Min 1/2 hour.
                                    
                               
3.Meanwhile, lets cook all the veggies

Microwave method: Cook all the veggies with required water for 5-6 mins except capsicum. Add required salt.
Normal method: Add water in the deep bottomed vessel and add veggies except capsicum.and salt. Close the lid and cook for 5 mins. You can also steam the veggies. 

Toss the cooked veggies with the cubed capsicum in butter with ground pepper.

4.Heat Grilled pan or normal tawa and place the marinated chicken breast. Cook well on both sides until your chicken gets cooked well. It took 15 mins for me to get this texture. 

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy Home style grilled chicken with healthy bed of veggies.


Note

1.Do not add extra oil while roasting the chicken. We are enough with olive oil here.
2.You can also replace olive oil with coking oil.
3.Addition of herbs will makes your chicken more tasty.
4.Min half and hour marination required.
