Vanilla Cup Cake

Ingredients

All-purpose flour      1 1/2 cups
Baking powder         1 1/2 teaspoons
Salt                            1/4 teaspoon
2 large eggs, at room temperature
Sugar                         2/3 cup
Unsalted butter          1 1/2 sticks (6 ounces)melted
Pure vanilla extract   2 teaspoons
Milk                           1/2 cup 


Method

1.Preheat the oven to 350 F.

2.Whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.

3.In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until light and foamy, about 2 minutes. While beating, gradually pour in the butter and then the vanilla.

4.While mixing slowly, add half the dry ingredients. Then add all the milk and follow with the rest of the dry ingredients. Beat for 2-3 mins.

5.Arrange the baking cups and grease with butter. Fill the cups with batter. Make the spread even with the help of spoon.

6.Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool the cupcakes on a rack in the tin for 10 minutes, and then remove from the tin. Cool on the rack completely. Decorate as desired.




Note:


I used yellow edible color while whisking the batter.
It yields 12 cup cakes
