Fish Gravy

Fillet Fish/King Fish- 500 gms
Tomato-1 big
Green Chilli-2 slit
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Bay leaf-1
Sombu/Fennel seed-1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Curry powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt & Oil
Pepper powder-1/2 tbsp


1.Wash fish and dice into cubes. I used fillet fish you can also use king fish/Vanjiram meen.
2.In a kadai, heat oil and temper with sombu ,Patta and bay leaf. Now add chopped onions,ginger garlic paste and green chilli. Saute for 1 min.
3.Add tomato allow it to cook for a while till water oozes out from tomato.
4.Now add cleaned fish,turmeric powder,chilli powder,curry masala and garam masala with req water and salt. Allow it to cook for 5-10 min.Stir in between.
5.It will come gravy like consistent.Last add pepper powder and finish it. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice/Roti/Dosa. Same procedure done in chicken gravy ;) Try this it was awesome.
